Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro decided not to be vaccinated against COVID-19, arguing that he had enough antibodies against the disease he had suffered.
Bolsonaro previously claimed that he would be the "last" person to be vaccinated in Brazil.
“As for the vaccine, I decided not to introduce it,” he said. "It will be the same as the 10 Brazilian reais lottery (just over € 1.50) to win two reales (30 cents)."
Bolsonaro does not hide that he is critical of the Covid-19 vaccine and advocates drug treatment.
Last month, due to not being vaccinated, he faced a number of restrictions while traveling to New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly. Last week, he was unable to make it to the Brazilian stadium because he was not vaccinated.
