China's Long March 5B heavy launch vehicle, out of control after launch, could re-enter the atmosphere over the coming weekend and crash to Earth in an unknown area.

"We expect it to re-enter the atmosphere sometime between May 8 and 10," Jonathan McDowell, a scientist at the Astrophysical Center at Harvard University, told reporters.
